The Medical Sterilizer Box is an essential piece of medical holloware, a cornerstone of any healthcare facility's sterilization protocol. It is specifically designed to safely hold and protect a wide range of surgical, dental, and medical instruments during the sterilization process. Available in various sizes, the sterilizer box features a secure, hinged lid and often has a perforated inner tray or a perforated bottom to allow for proper steam penetration in an autoclave or effective dry heat circulation.
How to Use
Preparation: The instruments to be sterilized must first be thoroughly cleaned and dried.
Loading: The cleaned instruments are placed neatly inside the sterilizer box, ensuring they are not tightly packed to allow for proper steam or heat penetration.
Sterilization: The lid is securely closed, and the box is placed inside the autoclave or dry heat sterilizer. The machine is then run through the appropriate sterilization cycle.
Cooling & Storage: After the cycle is complete, the box is removed with care and allowed to cool. The instruments inside are now sterile and can be stored inside the sealed box until they are needed for a procedure.
